Naíonraí teachers
Course Overview
This Gaeltacht immersion course offers Early Years Educators a two-night residential experience in the heart of the Gaeltacht, based on the campus of Coláiste Chamuis in Ros a’ Mhíl, County Galway. Participants live and work through Irish, engaging with the language in its natural, everyday setting.
Through a series of practical, workshop-based sessions delivered in a fully immersive environment, the course supports educators in strengthening their professional practice through Irish. The language focus centres on early years settings, workplace communication, and early language development, with a strong emphasis on building fluency, confidence and natural language use.
Coláiste Chamuis CPD courses are designed to support, motivate and empower teachers, offering practical tools and a supportive social learning experience that builds confidence in teaching through Irish.
This course is provided in partnership with Gaeloideachas.
